Dr. Jennifer Mazzotta is a passionate leader with over 23 years of professional experience in both public and private schools. She is a credentialed and licensed Special Education Teacher & Administrator in the State of New York. Dr. Mazzotta earned her Doctorate Degree in Administrative Leadership from North Central University in 2009. She holds multiple credentials in School District Administration and School District Leadership, in addition to her Professional Teaching Licenses, Level II Education Specialist, Mild to Moderate/Severe K-21.
Dr. Mazzotta is committed to educating communities and empowering families to become effective advocates for their children’s learning needs. She believes in working collaboratively to build sustainable partnerships between families and school teams.
Dr. Mazzotta is the proud parent of a special needs young adult, who successfully transitioned from K-12 school-aged services into higher education, as a result of the collaborative support he received from his family and school team. Dr. Mazzotta works throughout the country with community members, families, public and private schools, churches, synagogues, camps, gyms, daycares and professional organizations to ensure the needs of special education students are being met. Dr. Mazzotta lectures as an assistant adjunct professor of Special Education for new teachers and administrators entering the field, as she seeks to educate, inspire, support and build lasting partnerships through respect-based, collaborative experiences. Dr. Mazzotta is highly knowledgeable and skilled in the development of effective special education planning, programming, negotiations and mediation processes.
